Have you tried the Google Display network?

Have you had chance to check out the Google Display Network?

It’s actually rather cool. The basic premise is that you can choose the web sites that you want your advertising to appear on, you can even tightly target a topic and Google will find pages that match that topic, on which to place your ads.

Google says: “From the busiest news and video sites to the most passionate arts and crafts websites, you can connect with your ideal customers easily with the Google Display Network. Your text, image, rich media and video ads can appear across YouTube, Google properties such as Google Finance, Gmail, Google Maps, Blogger, as well as over one million Web, video, gaming and mobile display partners.”

We really like the fact that Google also allow you to use creative content in your ads, including animation or even video.

There’s also some pretty nifty features like: Above the fold advertising, Geo-targeting, Ad scheduling and Remarketing (Remarketing is a fantastic development in internet marketing. We’ll tell you more about it in another post).
