I’ve just been checking visitor numbers for a client’s website. We’ve been working with this particular client for just over a month, a business that has been struggling to get any decent traffic to their website for over 2 years now.
It was a nice surprise to see that visitor numbers are up a whopping 4291.67% on the previous month!
When you think that for the past year the percentage change in their monthly visitor numbers has either been flat (0%) or have even fallen (a negative percentage), this is an especially great result.
I really don’t mean to brag, but it’d be remiss of me not to give ourselves a small pat on the back.

Although whilst any positive increase is good, these figures don’t mean too much without some ballpark visitor numbers against them.

You’re absolutely right, 4000% of a very small number is likely to still be a very small number. They had in the low-to-mid hundreds a month previously, so it’s a fairly significant increase, though nothing earth shattering of course. I guess what’s more important here is that most of the increased visitors have actually come from far more relevant keyword searches, so the increase in sales for the client (due to the traffic being highly targeted too) has been even more striking than the visitor numbers might suggest.
In any case, I loathe this sort of ‘aren’t we great’ bragging type of posts so I’ll stop there

300 users per month up by 4291% is certainly significant so well done to you!
